Thank you for shopping with Vanscape. We want you to be happy with your purchase — but if you need to return something, here’s how our returns process works.

 

1. Your Legal Rights

Under UK law, customers purchasing goods online have the right to cancel their order and return most items within 14 days of receiving your goods. After notifying us of cancellation, you then have another 14 days to return the items to us.

 

2. Returns for Change of Mind

If you simply change your mind:

  • You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you wish to cancel.
  • You then have a further 14 days to send the item(s) back to us.
  • Returned items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in their original packaging, with all tags and labels intact.

Return postage costs for change-of-mind returns are at your expense, unless we have agreed otherwise.

 

3. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described:

  • Please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • We will provide instructions on how to return the item.
  • We will refund the full price you paid, including the original delivery cost and return postage, where applicable.
  • In some cases, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund.

 

4. How to Return an Item

To start a return:

  1. Email us at: workshop@vanscape.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll provide a return address and any necessary return instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely and include proof of purchase.

Please retain your proof of postage when returning items — we cannot refund items that are lost in transit without this evidence.

 

5. Refunds

Once we receive your return and inspect the item(s):

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • If you paid for delivery, delivery costs will be refunded only when the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g., faulty, incorrect, or damaged goods).

 

6. Items That Cannot Be Returned

Some types of items are excluded from returns:

  • Custom or personalised products (unless faulty or misdescribed).
  • Goods that are sealed for health and hygiene reasons once opened.
  • Perishable items.

If you are unsure whether your purchase is eligible for return, contact us before returning it.

 

7. Your Statutory Rights

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. You may still have rights to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
