Westdubs are proud to warrant their fibreglass roofs and assembly parts to cover any fault in product breakdown or part defect as per below breakdown from the original date of the product supply.
Westdubs will require the original invoice number to be provided to back up any claim.
The first 2 years cover parts and labour as per the above conditions, the remaining warranty covers parts only. The warranty is not transferable.
The warranty will only be valid if the product has been used in the advised manner as recommended by the manufacturer and subject to an annual service or maintenance as advised, and will not include any misuse or extreme weather conditions that may impede the safety and care of the product.
The warranty covers any defect that may be on the production or fault in materials used but does not include the canvas wear and tear.
Roof skins need to be washed and polished as you would do with the rest of the vehicle, lack of care to the roof top can result in fading as with the rest of your vehicle.
Westdubs does not supply or fit roof rails or after-market products. The recommended weight limit for our roofs is between 45kg / 50kg.
CARE FOR YOUR WESTDUBS ROOF AND CANVAS
In order to enjoy many years of use from your pop top we advise you to read these brief notes.
Your canvas can be cleaned with warm soapy water.
Always apply the elastic straps to keep canvas away from scissor hinges, not doing this will cause chaffing damage.
Always apply even pressure when pulling roof down and ensure you have adequate tension on the securing straps when down.
Westdubs advise treating all seams on your roof canvas with Fabsil sealer to ensure water resistance. Treat your canvas every 6 months.
Lightly oil scissor hinges annually and check tightness of all fittings for any movement.
When washing your van, try to avoid knocking the rubber strip at the front as this may displace it causing water and wind ingress. On your regular van wash don’t forget to wax the roof to minimise the risk of dull paintwork.
In order to maintain the glossy shine of your new pop top roof, Westdubs advise you use a good cutting compound such as G3 with a soft mop followed by a good polish and wax. This should be done every 6 months.
Westdubs recommends that the pop top roof is kept closed in torrential rain and strong winds to avoid any damage.
