Tryfan-E conversion prices start at £13,150 for a SWB, or a LWB starts at £13,800.
The first diagram shows the daytime seating arrangements in the Tryfan-E conversion, and the area of the van in which the elevating roof allows standing height. The second diagram shows the night-time sleeping arrangements with the roof bed over the RIB seat/bed system, including the optional Cab Bunk over the front seats.
The elevating roof offers over 6 feet of standing height all the way back to the rear seat, and opens up the possibility of adding a roof bed if needed (giving a further 2 berths). Another big advantage of installing Tryfan-E Deluxe VW T5 interior camper van conversion floor planan elevating roof is heat dissipation; in summer the extra ventilation offered by the REIMO roof will keep the van cool inside, and in winter the canvas provides good insulation from the cold, with an optional addition of a thermal roof canvas cover available if required.
The REIMO elevating roof system is not the cheapest on the market, but we believe it is the best and it is by far the most popular with professional converters, and the extra initial outlay will be offset by the added value to the vehicle. It should also be noted that a roof rack is possible with elevating roofs for bikes, surf boards or light loads, but heavy commercial loads on a roof rack need a fixed roof.
Further additions to the elevating roof package include the REIMO roof bed, roof rack, thermal roof canvas cover, solar panels and furniture options. For more options, please see our popular additions page.
Not quite what you had in mind? The Scafell-E package combines the REIMO elevating roof with more storage, whereas the Ben Nevis-E offers benefits of both.
